Semperfli Poly-Yarn - Since its invention poly yarn has been used in many industries from carpets to seatbelts. However for fly tyers its unique abilities make this a stunning fly tying material.
With a specific gravity/density of 0,91 g/cm3 poly yarn is lighter than water and so floats making it ideal for dry flies paricularly where it is used for parachute posts (Klinkhammers etc.) and as dubbing. When used on a dry fly it absorbs floatant and keeps your fly floating.
Ideal for bodies, parachute posts, indicators and as dubbing
