Firul Rio Grand este un fir plin, mai greu decat cel standard industrial, si are mai multa greutate distribuita pe capatul firului pentru a se incarca mai usor pe lansetele de actiune rapida. Firul are un head scurt care se lanseaza usor si este construit cu tehnologia "MaxCast", stratul sofisticat al firului respinge apa asigurand astfel un casting mai lung, dar si rezistenta in timp. Firul Rio Grand este alegerea cea mai buna cand vine vorba de o lanseta cu actiune rapida si moderna.
